UPPER BLACK EDDY, PA February 27, 2007 - Weddings are supposed to be the most beautiful, memorable moment of a couple's life. However, along with selecting the perfect bridal gown, location and cake, finding the right floral arrangements are often the most daunting task. Luckily more and more areas brides to be are finding their way to Hairy Mary's and taking owner Mark Bryan's floral designs to heart and literally down the aisle.

Hairy Mary's, an area floral and landscape design emporium, provides fresh ideas that suit every bride and budget from its newly design bridal consultation suite. Although trends are important, according to Bryan it ultimately comes down to personal style. "Our clients like that we provide our own unusual flowers for use in our bridal work," said Bryan. "It adds a unique touch that makes a bride and groom feel that it's truly their wedding. Our display garden is full of heirloom varieties of annuals, perennials and shrubs that can add to a very unique and distinct display."

According to Bryan there are some key color and floral design trends that marry modem and traditional styles, they include:

  • Hot Colors, Hot styles, Hot Bouquets: This season represents a bit of breakaway from the traditional whites and pale colors with flowers and adornments that offer a bolder look. They include pink and blue with a bit of chartreuse. chocolate and pink; and orange and blue with a bit of chartreuse.
  • Adornments Make Bouquets and Centerpieces Special: Use of fabric draping in place of using, standard tulle is a popular trend, along with adding unique broaches, hat pins and rhinestone pieces to boutique stem wraps. Even more, many brides are even using initial pins for each bridesmaid.
  • The Wild Yet Traditional Look is "In": "Gardenesque" romantic clutch style bouquets are very popular as are arrangements created to look as if they were gathered from the garden.
